4word - a Hebrew-first AI that answers your phone and turns every call into text, built first for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. The phone rings.
You read.
4word answers your phone calls, transcribes them, and sends you a full summary in the app - for iPhone and Android. Your number stays exactly as it is.
Demo: an incoming call from the clinic. 4word answers for you. The clinic asks to confirm your appointment tomorrow at 4 PM. You tell 4word to confirm it but make it 5 PM. 4word tells the clinic you will come tomorrow at 5 PM. Then a summary lands in the app: you set a clinic appointment for tomorrow at 5 PM.
The problem
A phone call is a problem.Even with perfect hearing.
For some of us, a phone call simply isn't possible. For everyone else - it's an interruption, a distraction, or a source of stress.
01 If hearing isn't on your side
The phone rings and your stomach drops before you even know who it is. For most people a ring means 'who's looking for me?'. For you it means 'how do I answer, and will I even understand them?'.
Every call is a dependency. On the doctor. On the bank. On the family member who has to translate for you.
The important calls - appointments, insurance, official matters - are exactly the calls you can't hand off. They're personal, complex, or urgent.
And still - you do hand them off. Because there's no choice.
02 If you're just busy
Taking a call during a meeting is the caller winning over your time. "I'll get back to you in an hour" is the small lie we all tell.
03 If a summary beats the call
Most calls are 30 seconds of information tangled inside 3 minutes of "how are you?". Let us pull the information out for you.
And when you let it ring out, there's no way to know who was on the other end or what they needed - just the feeling that something important might have slipped past, with nothing you can do.
4word answers for you, and you get exactly what was said. Control comes back to you.
Setup
Five minutes, once in your lifetime.
Setup happens once. After that, it just works.
Open the 4word app
Download the app - on iPhone or Android - and it starts a conversation with you in Hebrew. It asks for your name and which voice 4word should use. You decide how it sounds to your callers.
Choose how the bot introduces itself
Three ready-made options, or write your own. Whatever you pick - we make sure it includes the legal disclosure that this is AI.
Calls forward automatically
Every call you don't answer routes to 4word automatically. You set it up once at the start, and we walk you through it step by step.
First call - the summary in your app
The next call you don't answer, 4word will. Within 30 seconds of hang-up - a full summary, transcript, and a button to call back - all in your app.

The solution
4word answers. You read.
- The call arrives
- 4word answers
- The summary lands in the app
The feature
Something important? You answer - in writing.
You don't have to leave the whole call to the AI. When a question comes up that only you can answer, 4word asks you in the app - you type, and it says it on the call for you. Without saying a word.
Demo: 4word is handling a call. A question comes up that only you can answer - 4word asks you in the app, you type the answer, and 4word says it on the call for you. Without you having to speak.
A question comes up on the call
You answer in writing, in the app
4word says it on the call
First
Built first for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
4word wasn't built to "fix" you. It was built to remove a barrier that shouldn't have been there in the first place.
A call to the doctor, an appeal at the bank, coordinating with school - they don't have to demand hearing. They demand communication. And that's something we can do differently.
We aren't the first to build an accessibility tool. But we may be the first to build one as a tool everyone wants to use - not as a compromise solution for one community.
- In-app only - no dependence on hearing, no dependence on audio
- Every interaction in text, in Hebrew - never through a voice call
- You pick the voice the bot uses - it doesn't pick for you
- Callers know they're talking to AI - you control what's said in your name

Trust
Your calls. Yours only.
Full legal compliance
We follow Israel's PPA AI Guidelines (February 2025). The bot always opens every call by introducing itself as AI.
In-app only
The only way to talk to 4word is through your app. We never reach out to you first - not by email, not by phone, not by message.
Always cancelable
Send "cancel" at any point - and all your data is erased within 24 hours. Future calls go back to you as usual.
Your data isn't for sale
We never use your data for advertising, and we never sell it to anyone. It's used only to provide you the service.
Join the first testing group.
We're about to open a small, closed testing group - a limited number of first users who get early access to the app (for iPhone and Android), their own dedicated phone number, and a direct line to shape what we build. Built first for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Leave your details and we'll reach out the moment the group opens.
